AutoGP

Two of your groups have this name

Facebook's listing form identifies your groups by name only, so two groups called the same thing can't be told apart. How to fix it in a minute.

What it means

When a listing goes to several groups, Facebook's form lists the groups it can add it to as a column of checkboxes. Those rows carry the group's name and nothing else — no link and no group ID — so the name is the only thing AutoGP can match on.

Two of your groups are named the same, so ticking the right one wasn't possible. Rather than guess and publish your item to the wrong group, AutoGP left both out and carried on with the rest of the form.

Duplicate names are common in local selling: several towns run a group called "Buy & Sell", and a group can be renamed to something another already uses at any time.

What to do

  1. List in one of them by hand. Open the group, choose Sell Something, and add the other groups from the form's own list. It takes about as long as one listing.
  2. Take one of the two out of your bundle, if only one of them matters to you. AutoGP can then match the remaining one by name.
  3. Check the names in the Groups tab. Sorting by name puts identical ones next to each other, so you can see which pair caused this.

When to contact support

Email support@autogp.ai if your groups all have distinct names and AutoGP still gives this reason. Include both group links and when the run was.
