AutoGP vs Group Posting: Posting to Many Facebook Groups in One Click, Compared

By Shirman, founder of AutoGP · 7 October 2026 · 8 min read

AutoGP and Group Posting both post one post to dozens or 100 Facebook groups you've joined, automatically and in one click, from an extension that runs in your own logged-in browser. Group Posting has a free plan that never ends (5 group posts a day), more content features (AI writing, video, Lead Radar, multi-step automations) and works in Edge as well as Chrome. AutoGP keeps to getting one post into many groups: it sets its daily pace from your Facebook account's age, stops the run when Facebook objects, gives a reason for every group, puts every feature on every plan, and is priced for your country.

A disclosure: I make AutoGP. Group Posting's details below are from its site and its pricing page, as of October 7, 2026.

The short answer

  • Choose Group Posting if you post to a few groups a day and want that free for good, or you want AI-written posts, video, Lead Radar, multi-step automations or Edge support.
  • Choose AutoGP if your goal is getting the same post into dozens of groups regularly: the pace comes from your account's age instead of a setting you have to guess, the whole run stops when Facebook objects, every plan has every feature, prices are set for your country, and Agency covers up to 10 Facebook accounts for $99 a month.

What AutoGP does that Group Posting doesn't list

These are things AutoGP does that I couldn't find on Group Posting's own pages:

  • A daily limit worked out for your account, every time. AutoGP asks how old your Facebook account is and whether it has posted in groups, then sets a limit that warms up by about 30% a week, from 25 posts a day to as many as 100. Group Posting offers an optional warm-up mode for new accounts and slows down above about 60 posts a day.
  • It stops the whole run when Facebook objects. If Facebook blocks posting for a while, asks you to confirm it's you, restricts the account or logs you out, AutoGP stops at once. A single group that turns a post down is skipped, and the rest carry on. Group Posting lists a 12-hour pause after a Facebook block.
  • A slightly different copy of your images for every group, and a warning before a run when your post is very similar to one you sent in the last day.
  • A result for every group, with a reason. The Results tab says what happened in each group, and every reason has a help page of its own.
  • Failed posts don't count. Only posts that actually go through use up your allowance; a post that fails or is skipped is given back.
  • Every feature on every plan. Plans differ only in how much you post and how many Facebook accounts you post as. Group Posting keeps AI writing, automations, Lead Radar and cloud backup for Pro.
  • Prices set for your country. Many countries pay about 40% or 60% less, shown automatically.

Price and free plan

Group Posting's free Lite plan never runs out: 5 group posts a day, so one post to 5 groups, with spintax and templates. If you only ever post to a handful of groups, that's hard to beat, and it's worth knowing about.

To post to more groups than that, Group Posting's Plus plan is €69 a year (yearly only), and Pro is €24 a month or €119 a year. AutoGP Pro is $19 a month or $149 a year at the full US price, and less in many countries. AutoGP's trial is 25 posts in total, all features included, so you can run a real campaign to many groups before deciding. In many countries sign-up saves a card for that trial; nothing is charged during the free posts, and you can turn off the switch to Pro on your dashboard.

For agencies, Group Posting's agency plans start at €199 a month. AutoGP Agency is $99 a month for up to 10 Facebook accounts.

Features

Group Posting is the broader tool. It writes and improves posts with AI on Pro, posts video and links, adds an automatic first comment, runs multi-step campaigns, and its Lead Radar watches groups for keywords.

AutoGP keeps to groups. You write the post, use spintax to vary it, add images (each group gets a very slightly changed copy), choose the groups, and press start. The work goes into the pacing and into telling you what happened in each group.

Scheduling

Both schedule, and with both, the computer has to be on and the browser running at the scheduled time, because the posting happens in your browser rather than on a server. In AutoGP you pick a date and time on the Schedule tab and, to repeat it, a gap of 1 to 168 hours. Scheduled runs keep to the same daily limit, waits and posting hours as a run you start by hand. How to schedule posts in Facebook groups has the steps.

Pacing and account safety

Both space posts out with random gaps and pause at night (Group Posting from 10 PM to 7 AM by default, AutoGP outside 08:00 to 23:00). AutoGP also:

  1. Sets a daily limit from your account's age and history, starting at 25 posts a day or more and rising by about 30% a week to a ceiling between 35 and 100.
  2. Stretches its waits as the day fills up.
  3. Stops the whole run when Facebook blocks posting, asks you to confirm it's you, restricts the account or logs you out, and skips single groups that turn a post down.

No tool, AutoGP included, can make an account immune to restrictions. What actually gets accounts restricted explains what does matter.

Which one should you pick?

If you post to a few groups a day, or you want AI writing, video and lead tracking in the same tool, Group Posting does more, and its free plan may be all you need. If your job is getting one post into dozens of groups regularly, at a pace your account can carry, with every feature on the plan you pay for, AutoGP is built for that.

Is AutoGP a Group Posting alternative?

Yes. Both post to many Facebook groups automatically from your own browser. AutoGP sets a daily limit from your account's age, stops the whole run when Facebook objects, has every feature on every plan and prices set for each country. Group Posting adds a free daily plan, AI writing, video, Lead Radar and Edge support.

Do I need to keep my computer on with AutoGP or Group Posting?
