AutoGP vs FB Group Bulk Poster: Which Facebook Group Auto Poster Fits You?

By Shirman, founder of AutoGP · 5 October 2026 · 9 min read

AutoGP and FB Group Bulk Poster are both Chrome extensions that post one post to dozens or 100 Facebook groups you've joined, automatically, in one click. Both space the posts out with random delays, both support spintax, and both schedule. FB Group Bulk Poster is cheaper and its free plan renews every day; AutoGP's free trial is a one-off 25 posts, and what it adds is a daily limit set from your account's age and a run that stops itself when Facebook warns you.

A disclosure: I make AutoGP. Everything about FB Group Bulk Poster below comes from its own site, linked, as of October 5, 2026, and I say where it's the better choice.

The short answer

  • Choose AutoGP if you post one ad to many groups at once and want it done at a pace your account can carry: a daily limit tied to your account's age, an automatic stop on Facebook warnings, a result for every group, and a clear promise that it never asks for your Facebook password.
  • Choose FB Group Bulk Poster if you want the lowest price, or a free plan you can keep using a few posts a day.

What AutoGP does that FB Group Bulk Poster doesn't list

These are things AutoGP does that I couldn't find anywhere on FB Group Bulk Poster's own pages:

  • A daily limit worked out for your account. AutoGP asks how old your Facebook account is and whether it has posted in groups, then sets a limit that warms up by about 30% a week, from 25 posts a day to as many as 100. You don't have to guess how much is too much.
  • It stops the whole run when Facebook objects. If Facebook blocks posting for a while, asks you to confirm it's you, restricts the account or logs you out, AutoGP stops at once rather than pressing on. A single group that turns a post down is skipped, and the rest carry on.
  • Waits that stretch as the day fills up, plus posting hours (08:00 to 23:00 by default). A run still going when the hours end stops there and carries on by itself when they next start.
  • A slightly different copy of your images for every group, and a warning before a run when your post is very similar to one you sent in the last day.
  • A result for every group, with a reason. The Results tab says what happened in each group, every reason has a help page of its own, and Run Diagnostics checks the setup for you.
  • Failed posts don't count. Only posts that actually go through use up your allowance; a post that fails or is skipped is given back.
  • Every feature on every plan, so no cheaper tier is missing the safety controls. Plans differ only in how much you post and how many Facebook accounts you post as.
  • Up to 10 Facebook accounts on one plan with Agency, profiles or Pages in any mix, for agencies posting for clients.
  • Prices set for your country. Many countries pay about 40% or 60% less, shown automatically.

Free plans work differently

FB Group Bulk Poster's free plan gives 3 posts a day, every day. That suits someone who posts to two or three groups now and then and never wants to pay.

AutoGP's free posts are a one-off 25, meant for a different kind of user: someone who wants to post one ad to 20 or 25 groups at once and see whether it brings inquiries before deciding. After that, it's a paid plan.

Price

FB Group Bulk Poster is cheaper: $8.99 a month or $69.99 a year for Pro, against AutoGP Pro's $19 a month or $149 a year at the full US price. AutoGP has lower regional prices in many countries, shown on Pricing, but in high-income countries FB Group Bulk Poster costs less than half as much.

Pacing and account safety

Both tools put random delays between groups, and both support spintax so that no two copies read exactly alike. Those two habits address what Meta's spam policy actually names: very high posting frequency and repetitive content.

FB Group Bulk Poster says it has a 99.7% account safety rate; its site doesn't say how that figure was measured. AutoGP doesn't quote a figure, because no tool can promise an account won't be restricted. What it does instead:

  1. Sets a daily limit from your account. It asks your Facebook account's age and posting history, starts at 25 posts a day or more, and raises the limit by about 30% a week up to a ceiling between 35 and 100 a day.
  2. Stretches the waits as the day fills up, and keeps to posting hours (08:00 to 23:00 by default).
  3. Stops the whole run when Facebook blocks posting for a while, asks you to confirm it's you, restricts the account or logs you out.
  4. Warns you before a run when the post is very similar to one you sent in the last day.

If you're weighing any tool on safety, what actually gets accounts restricted is worth reading first.

Scheduling

Both tools schedule posts, which matters more than it used to: since Meta removed group publishing from its API in April 2024, the big social media schedulers can't post to groups at all, so a browser extension is now the usual way to schedule group posts. FB Group Bulk Poster lists scheduling among its features; its site doesn't go into how repeats work or whether Chrome has to be open at the scheduled time.

In AutoGP you pick a date and time on the Schedule tab and, if you want it to repeat, a gap of anything from 1 to 168 hours. Because AutoGP posts from your own Chrome, the computer has to be on and awake, with Chrome open and you logged in to Facebook, when a scheduled post is due. A scheduled run keeps to the same daily limit, waits and posting hours as one you start by hand, so a big list of groups is spread out rather than posted in a burst. How to schedule posts in Facebook groups walks through it.

Which one should you pick?

For occasional posting on a budget, FB Group Bulk Poster's daily free posts and low price are hard to argue with. For posting one ad to dozens of groups regularly, especially from a newer account or for clients, AutoGP's account-based limit, stop-on-warning and per-group results are what the higher price buys.

You can see an AutoGP run from start to finish with the 25 free posts: post to many groups in one click.

Weighing other tools too? See AutoGP vs MultiGroupPoster and AutoGP vs PilotPoster, compared the same way.

Not sure you need a tool at all?

A posting tool isn't the only way to reach many groups. If you post to a handful of groups now and then, doing it by hand costs nothing but time, and how to post to multiple Facebook groups at once shows the manual way step by step next to the automatic one. If you're choosing between kinds of tool rather than two products, the best Facebook group posting tools compares every option, including Facebook's own scheduler for groups you run and the hired-help route. Whatever you pick, the habits that keep an account healthy are the same: vary the wording, follow each group's rules, and don't post more in a day than your account usually would. The rest of our guides on Facebook group marketing and automation go into each of those.
