AutoGP posts from your real Facebook account, through the session you're logged in to in Chrome. Facebook can limit or restrict accounts that post too much, and no tool can make an account immune, AutoGP included. What AutoGP does is post at a pace that fits the account, spread out and varied, and stop the moment Facebook objects. This protection is on by default.
A daily limit that warms up
When you first open AutoGP, it asks how old your Facebook account is and whether it has posted in groups before. From your answers it sets a daily limit that starts low and rises by about 30% a week, up to a ceiling for the account's age:

An account that has never posted in groups starts lower, and one that posts in groups regularly starts higher. You can set a limit of your own in Settings instead. If a run would go over the day's limit, AutoGP tells you before it starts.
Posts spread out, not in a burst
- A wait between groups. AutoGP waits a random time between one group and the next, within the range you set.
- Longer waits as the day fills up. The wait stretches after 10 posts in a day, more than doubles past 30, and keeps growing past 60 and 100.
- Rests. Every so often it takes a longer break, the way a person would.
- Posting hours. It posts between 08:00 and 23:00 your time by default. You can change the hours in Settings.
- One run at a time, so two runs never post from the account at once.
Every copy a little different
- Spintax. Write choices like
{Hi|Hey|Hello}, and each group gets one of them, so no two copies are identical. - Varied images. Each group gets a very slightly changed copy of your images, rather than the same files every time.
- A warning about repeats. Before a run starts, AutoGP warns you when the post is very similar to one you sent in the last day.
It stops when Facebook objects
AutoGP tells two kinds of problem apart:
- A problem with one group, such as a group that doesn't let you post, is skipped, and the run carries on with the others.
- A problem with your account, such as Facebook blocking posting for a while, asking you to confirm it's you, restricting the account or logging you out, stops the whole run at once. Pressing on would only add to what Facebook objected to.
Either way, the Results tab says what happened in each group, and every reason has a help page of its own.
What stays up to you
AutoGP paces your posts, but you choose what to post and where, and that matters as much as any setting:
- Start small. A new account posting to many groups on its first day is the pattern that gets flagged, whatever the post says.
- Follow each group's rules, especially about links and promotion.
- Check Account Status on Facebook now and then, so you notice a warning early.

When to contact support
Email support@autogp.ai if AutoGP doesn't seem to do what this page says: for example, if a run goes past the daily limit without you choosing to, or posts outside your posting hours. Include what Run Diagnostics shows.
