Posting Safely Without Getting Banned

What actually gets Facebook accounts restricted, how posting limits really work, and how to stay well under them.

Facebook does not publish a daily posting limit, and it does not restrict accounts for using a particular tool. What its spam rules target is behaviour: posting at very high frequency, repeating the same content across many places, and activity that does not match an account’s history — whether a person or software produced it.

In practice four things decide how much an account can post to groups without trouble: how old the account is and how it has been used, how similar the posts are to each other, how evenly and quickly they go out, and whether each group’s own rules allow the post at all. A brand-new account posting to forty groups in its first hour is a very different signal from a five-year-old account posting to a dozen groups across an afternoon.

The guides here explain what actually triggers restrictions, how to tell a single group’s block from an account-level one, what to do if you are already restricted, and how to ramp volume up gradually. None of it removes the risk entirely — nothing can — but it makes the difference between a sustainable routine and a string of blocks.
