What it means
A listing is created through a form with two steps: the item itself — photos, title, price, condition — and then the groups to publish it to. AutoGP opens that form, fills it in and checks each step before moving on, exactly as you would.
Somewhere in that sequence a step wasn't where AutoGP expected it: Sell Something wasn't on the group's page, the Create new listing chooser didn't open, a field wouldn't take its value, or the form wouldn't move past its first step.
It isn't a problem with your account, and nothing was published. Facebook changes this form's layout and wording from time to time, and it also renders differently in a slow or half-loaded page.
Because one form publishes one listing to all of its groups at once, a form that couldn't be filled in means none of that batch's groups got the listing.
What to do
- Run it again. A half-rendered page is the most common cause, and the next attempt usually gets a clean one.
- Create one listing by hand in the same group, to see whether the form works at all for your account. If it doesn't, it's Facebook's end, not AutoGP's.
- Check your Facebook language. AutoGP knows this form's buttons in the languages it supports; in another language it won't recognise them. Setting Facebook to English is the quick fix.
- Click Run Diagnostics in AutoGP and send us what it shows if it keeps happening — that's what tells us which step changed.
When to contact support
Email support@autogp.ai if you can create a listing in the group by hand and AutoGP still can't. Include the group's link, what Run Diagnostics shows and your Facebook display language. A form Facebook has changed is our job to fix, and this is how we find out.
