This group takes an ordinary post, not a listing

A listing run needs Facebook's listing form, which only buy and sell groups offer. Why a discussion group can't take one, and what to do with it.

What it means

A listing run publishes through Facebook's own listing form — the one behind Sell Something in a buy and sell group. Discussion groups don't have it. They have a "Write something" box and take ordinary posts, which is what an AutoGP post run sends them.

This group is a discussion group, so there was no listing form to open in it.

You'll only see this for a group AutoGP opened a form from. Each form carries its own list of the groups it can add the listing to, and that list holds buy and sell groups only — so discussion groups elsewhere in your selection are simply never offered, and AutoGP records them as skipped rather than failed.

One form publishes one listing to every group on it, so when the form can't be opened at all, none of that form's groups gets the listing. They all show this reason.

What to do

  1. Send this group an ordinary post instead. Start a post run and include it there; a listing run and a post run carry different content, so they're separate runs.
  2. Take it out of your listing bundles, so the next listing run doesn't open a form from it.
  3. Check the group yourself if you're not sure which kind it is. Open it from the Results tab and look for Sell Something: if the composer says "Write something", it's a discussion group.

When to contact support

Email support@autogp.ai if the group does have Sell Something and you can create a listing in it by hand, but AutoGP keeps giving this reason. Include the group's link and what Run Diagnostics shows.
