AutoGP

Facebook is reviewing this listing

Facebook sometimes reviews a new listing before it shows in your groups. Why that isn't a failure, how it differs from admin approval, and what AutoGP counts.

What it means

AutoGP filled in Facebook's listing form and Facebook confirmed the listing was published. Many listings go straight to Active, but Facebook can put a new one through its own commerce review first, and this one is there. Until the review finishes, the listing reads "This listing is in review", and it appears in the group once it's approved.

That's a different gate from a group holding posts for its admins, and both can apply to the same listing: Facebook reviews it first, and the group's admins can still have to approve it after that. There's no published timetable for the review, and Facebook decides the outcome, not the group.

A listing isn't one post per group. One form publishes a single listing into the group it was opened from, up to 20 more groups, and, if you asked for it, Marketplace. So the review covers every group on that form at once, which is why a whole set of groups shows this at the same moment.

AutoGP counts a listing being reviewed as having gone through. It counts towards your daily limit and your plan, and it isn't among the groups AutoGP offers to run again.

What to do

  • Usually nothing. The review is Facebook's, and most finish without you doing anything.
  • Don't publish the same item again while it's in review. A second copy won't speed the first one up, and repeated near-identical listings are what puts an account's access to Facebook's selling features at risk.
  • Look under Your items in any of the groups the listing went to, or under Selling in Marketplace, to see whether it's been approved.
  • Read Facebook's Commerce Policies before listing anything borderline. They govern what may be sold, in groups as well as on Marketplace, and a listing that breaks them is rejected at this step.
  • If it's rejected, Facebook lets you appeal within 180 days, from Profile status → Marketplace. Fixing the title, photos or price and listing again is usually faster than appealing.

When to contact support

Email support@autogp.ai if AutoGP counted a listing as being reviewed and it isn't in Your items at all, in any of the groups on that form. Include one of the group links and when the run was.
