What it means
Many Facebook groups hold new posts until an admin or moderator approves them. The group may have post approval turned on, it may approve only a member's first posts, or Facebook may require the admins to approve your posts there. A post waiting for approval sits in the group's queue, where other members can't see it yet.
That isn't a failure. The post went through, and it appears in the group once an admin approves it. That can take minutes or days, because group admins are ordinary Facebook users, not Facebook staff. An admin can also decline it.
AutoGP counts a post waiting for approval as posted. It counts towards your daily limit and your plan like any other post, and it isn't among the failed groups AutoGP offers to try again.
What to do
- Usually nothing. Leave it with the admins.
- Don't post the same thing again to speed it up. It won't, and a second copy in the queue looks like spam.
- Read the group's rules if your posts there are often declined. Some groups accept posts only on certain days, or without links.
- If only one group holds your posts, Facebook may be requiring its admins to review them. Meta said in 2020 that members with violations in a group would need their posts there approved for 30 days.
AutoGP adds a first comment to your post once it shows in the group, so a post waiting for approval doesn't get one. Add the comment yourself after the post is approved, if you still want it.
When to contact support
Email support@autogp.ai if a post AutoGP counted as posted isn't in the group and isn't waiting for approval either. Include the group's link and when the run was.
