What it means
AutoGP gives each group a limited time to open the page, write the post, attach any images and publish. This group ran over, so posting to it was stopped and the run moved on to the next group.
It can run over because:
- Facebook was slow to load the group or to take the post.
- The images were large, or there were several, and took a long time to upload.
- The post was long. AutoGP types each post into Facebook's box at a person's pace, so a long post takes a while.
- The posting window was minimised or hidden, and Chrome slowed it down.
A post that ran over usually didn't go out, but Facebook can take it just as posting to it is stopped.
What to do
- Open the group from the Results tab (its name is a link) and look for your post before you try again, so the group doesn't get it twice.
- Leave the posting window open and visible while AutoGP posts.
- Go lighter next time: fewer or smaller images, or a shorter post.
- Try that group again later. A slow moment on Facebook's side usually passes.
When to contact support
Email support@autogp.ai if most groups run over, even with a short post and no images, or if one group runs over every time while you can post in it by hand. Include the group's link, roughly how long your post is and how many images it has, and what Run Diagnostics shows.
