AutoGP

Facebook didn't confirm the post went through

AutoGP pressed Post, but Facebook showed an error or didn't take the post. Check the group before posting again, so it doesn't get the same post twice.

What it means

AutoGP wrote the post and pressed Post, then waited for signs that Facebook took it: the Post button going away, the post box closing, or a message that it was posted. Instead, Facebook showed an error, or the Post button was still there when AutoGP stopped waiting. So AutoGP counts this group as not posted.

Usually the post really didn't go through. Now and then Facebook takes a post but is slow to show it, so it's worth checking before you try again.

AutoGP skips the group and carries on posting to the others. If Facebook's message said the account is blocked or limited, AutoGP treats it as a problem with your account and, with protection on, stops the run instead.

What to do

  1. Open the group from the Results tab (its name is a link) and look for your post, including among posts waiting for admin approval, before you try again. The same post twice in one group looks like spam.
  2. If Facebook showed a message, Results may include its words. A message about your post's content or a link means it wasn't accepted as it is: change it before trying again.
  3. If the post isn't there, try that group again later. A one-off error on Facebook's side usually clears.

When to contact support

Email support@autogp.ai if this happens in several groups in the same run while you can post in them by hand. Include the groups' links, what Results says about each, and what Run Diagnostics shows.
